John Abraham’s hopeful for ‘Desi Boyz 2’

After the super success of his last film ‘Force’, John Abraham is gearing up for his next release ‘Desi Boyz’ that is totally different from his last. While ‘Force’ was high-octane action thriller, ‘Desi Boyz’ is yet another comedy film that embarks the comeback of Akshay Kumar and John Abraham after their hit film ‘Garam Masala’ that came way back in 2005.

The promos of the film have made huge waves in the industry and John is extremely optimistic about the fate of his film. John recently stated that Asians in UK and US are extremely happy with this new portrayal and are ‘cool’ about the ‘desi’ tag. With such an overwhelming response even before the film’s release, John is hopeful that after the success of the original they will have enough reasons to come up with a sequel.

John is hopeful that the film will successfully launch itself as a franchise. The film starring John Abraham, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone and Chitrangada Singh is directed by Rohit Dhawan and is all set to release in November.
