'The Dirty Picture' trailer is too hot for public viewing
Download Wallpaper The second trailer of producer Ekta Kapoor’s film The Dirty Picture got stuck with the Censor Board over an explicit lovemaking scene between Vidya Balan and Naseeruddin Shah.
Director Milan Luthria seems to have vowed to shock the movie buffs. If the teasers and stills of Vidya Balan dressed in blouses with plunging necklines was not enough, the second trailer of The Dirty Picture
packed a steamy love scene between Vidya and Naseeruddin Shah. In the scene, the two make love inside a car.
When the trailer was sent for clearance from the Censor Board, objections were raised to the aforementioned scene and a few dialogues.
The Censor Board felt the trailer was not suitable for viewing by family audience and hence decided to give it an A (Adults Only) certificate. However, the makers wanted a U/A certificate so that the trailer can be screened with films like Mausam.
Hence, the trailer was edited to chop out the hot scene.
